LQF Update

2nd iteration of proof ordered today. Just rec'd email from company indicating that proof has shipped, so I'm hoping it'll arrive by next Thursday or Friday (July 1 or 2). If it's okay -- and I really hope it's okay at this point. It should take but a few minutes to "throw the switch" and make the book available on Amazon.com.

Fingers crossed. Not holding my breath, of course.

Google, as a third party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on my blog. Google uses The DoubleClick DART cookie to help marketers learn how well their Internet advertising campaigns or paid search listings perform. Google's AdSense policy states that third-party advertising companies who serve ads on my blog may use information gathered when you click on the ads in order to provide advertisements about goods and services of interest to you. The policy says that the information gathered may not include your name, address, email address, or telephone number.

As of April, 2009, Google is introducing "Interest-based advertising". Interest-based advertising will allow advertisers to show ads based on a user's previous interactions with them, such as visits to an advertiser website and also to reach users based on their interests (e.g. "sports enthusiast"). To develop interest categories, Google will recognize the types of web pages you visit throughout the Google content network. As an example, if you visit a number of sports pages, Google will add you to the "sports enthusiast" interest category.
